Crispy Oven-Baked Potato Wedges

There’s nothing like a batch of crispy, golden potato wedges fresh out the oven—especially when they’re coated in bold, smoky MAHMI flavor.

These oven-baked wedges are seasoned with our signature MAHMI Original All Purpose blend, giving you that perfect balance of savory, garlicky goodness with a subtle heat and deep, roasted char. Whether you’re serving them up as a snack, a side dish, or just craving something comforting and crave-worthy, this recipe brings big flavor with simple ingredients. Made with russet potatoes and love—just the way MAHMI would do it.

Ingredients:

• 2 large russet potatoes, scrubbed clean

• 2–3 tbsp olive oil

• 1-1/2 tbsp MAHMI Original All Purpose Seasoning

• Salt to taste

• Optional: chopped cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Recipe Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside.

2. Slice the potatoes

Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then slice each half into 3–4 wedges depending on size. Try to keep the wedges about the same thickness so they cook evenly.

3. Soak in cold water

Place wedges in a bowl of cold water for 20–30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch and makes them crispier when baked.

4. Drain and dry

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them completely dry using a clean towel or paper towels.

5. Season the wedges

In a large bowl, toss the wedges with olive oil until coated. Add MAHMI seasoning (and smoked paprika if using) and toss again until every wedge is well coated with that bold flavor.

6. Arrange on baking sheet

Place the wedges cut-side down on the baking sheet. Make sure they’re not touching or overlapping—give them space to crisp up.

7. Bake

Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through. You’re looking for golden brown edges and a deep, smoky char on the sides.

8. Garnish and serve

Sprinkle with chopped cilantro or parsley if you’d like, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
